Contour

Have you ever heard of contour drawings?
Contour drawings are drawings usually done by pen. Sometimes the artist may not look at the paper, other times they don't take the pen off the paper. Here are some examples, the first one is by John Lennon:

I really like this drawing because it has a lot of emphases on the lines. That is what contour is really about, lines.
One day I did a train that was contour, one day I'll take a picture of it, or Scan it & upload.

As you know, I am fanatic with the Beatles & their individual lives. Before John Lennon became a musician, he was an artist. He used his skills throughout his career. One of his most famous pieces, and my favorite one, is the absract self-portrait he did for the cover of his album, Imagine.

That isn't really how its suppose to be spelled but that is how is pronounced. Anyway, I think I need to find a topic for my blog and stick with it! What should it be... How about the world of art!? Hey,
I know i haven't published anything since January. Sorry. Wait... why am i apologizing if no one ever reads this thing? Well, i don't care! Lately instead of being infatuated with plain beatles stuff i have been infatuated with individual beatles stuff. Like John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band, they rock! Or, Paul McCartney and the Wings. My fav songs are "Imagine" By John, "Live and Let Die" By Paul, and "Maybe I'm Amazed" those songs are the best ever! ROCK ON! :P Bty I just found out that the guy who is painting our house is a John Lennon fan also! Peace!
